DeviceLock DLP: Configuration - Non administrative users cannot gain access to Samba based shares on Windows XP

Description

On Windows XP, non administrative users fail to access Samba based network shares when DeviceLock Service is running.

Comments

The issue may be caused by the 'Memory usage' parameter (My computer -> Properties -> Advanced -> Performance options -> Advanced) set to 'System cache'.

Recommendations

Set the 'Memory usage' parameter to 'Programs'.
