Acronis True Image (Mac): Installation fails with "Acronis True Image is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash"

Symptoms

You copy AcronisTrueImage2020.dmg to the Program or Applications folder and get the following alert:

Newer Mac systems include a security setting that can block the installation of apps downloaded from places other than the Mac App Store.
