DeviceLock DLP: Resolved - Hot Removal of SafeGuard Devices

Description

System crash when running DeviceLock Service in conjunction with SafeGuard (ECview.exe). This issue results in a blue screen when unplugging a USB device.

Comments

This issue is a defect in the behavior of SafeGuard (ECview.exe) or the Utimaco driver, sgeflt.sys, when other applications use file filter drivers. This is not specific to DeviceLock software as this issue would occur with any software that uses a file filter driver.

Recommendations

Ultimaco has released an updated driver which resolves this issue.
