Description

‘The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process’ error when stopping DeviceLock ‘dlservice.exe -e’, or uninstalling it with ‘dlservice.exe -u’ command.

Comments

The error indicates that DeviceLock Administrators functionality is active and providing protection for DeviceLock Service.

Recommendations

To stop, or uninstall DeviceLock Service, DeviceLock Administrators functionality has to be disabled.
