Description

When connected to DeviceLock service via DeviceLock Management Console and trying to access Audit Log Viewer, the following error appears: 'DeviceLock - EnumEventLog error (1717) — The interface is unknown'.

Comments

The error may appear due to the 'Event Log' service being disabled on the target computer.

Enabling the 'Event Log' service and changing its startup type to 'Automatic' may help resolving the issue.
