DeviceLock DLP: Configuration - Resolving Scrambling Behavior of PS\2 Bar Code Scanner

Description

After scanning a bar code, the "Honeywell Voyager MS9520" scanner returns a set of unclassified symbols instead of digits and the keyboard is blocked until reboot of the computer.

Comments

Such behaviour may indicate that the "PS\2 scrambling" DeviceLock feature is enabled on the computer with the problem scanner.

Recommendations

Please be sure to have the following options DISABLED: Service Options-> Anti-Keylogger section -> "PS\2 scrambling", "Block keyboard".
